Drama Matters
Lights, Camera, Action! In Drama Matters, club members get to let their imaginations run wild! DramaMatters is a flexible resource that raises awareness about the benefits of drama education in which Club members learn the fundamentals of dramatic performance, stage direction and set design. In this program, any Youth can be the star as they learn how to adjust perspectives and mood through performance delivery. Drama Matters participants experience the overall process of preparing for a Big Time Production from memorizing lines and cues to using props and dressing up. This is very helpful as each Drama Matters session builds on the previous to create a Drama Production for parents and the community to behold. At the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Texas the sky’s the limit and each Drama Matters Session, STARS ARE BORN!!!
