Every Super Bowl Sunday the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Texas (BGCSCT) hosts its Super Bowl Tailgate Party. This event is free and open to the public.

Attendees can enter a variety of competitions, such as Madden 12 Tournament, Xtreme Talent Show and Chili Cook-Off; cash prizes are awarded for each contest. First place wins $225. Second place wins $150, and third place wins $75. Contestants must pay a $10 entry fee.

In addition to the contests, there are family-friendly activities for everyone. The Super Bowl Tailgate Party is one of the BGCSCT’s largest outreach events, and the organization encourages people of all ages to come participate in the festivities.
