Creative Content Writer

The Creative Content Writer is a contractor who will work with our Marketing Operations team to create engaging and original content that can be used in all aspects of the organization. The Content Writer must be able to work independently, as well as within a team, complete tasks timely and work within client print and brand specifications.


Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent education;
  • Two or more years working in as a professional creative writer or other relevant work experience;
  • Strong communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate ideas to the team and targeted audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly produce various content types, including email, social media posts, websites and media press releases.
  • Collaborate with our Marketing Operations team to create innovative content ideas.
  • Be capable of multi-tasking and creating a plan to achieve all necessary assignments by assigned due dates.
  • The contractor must be available to attend scheduled meetings at the San Marcos Campus in person as requested.

Reports To: Marketing Operations Team

Work Schedule: Freelance

Starting Salary: $16.00 per hour

Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer is a contractor who will work with our Marketing Operations team to create and design digital media content that can be used in all aspects of the organization. The Graphic Designer must understand graphic design and possess skills in a variety of multimedia software programs. The contractor must be able to work independently, as well as within a team, complete tasks timely and work within client print and brand specifications.


Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent education;
  • Two or more years working in as a professional graphic designer or in a related role;
  • Documented experience using multimedia software programs;
  • Strong communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate in a visual and written format.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop designs and layouts for other marketing communications needs including but not limited to: logos, web graphics, web design, brochures, signs, postcards, booklets, videos, and informational and educational material by using your creative strategies alongside established design rules and principles.

The Transportation Services Bus Driver; provides safe and efficient transportation services to BGCSCT Club members and Texas Preparatory School students. A successful applicant will have a high school diploma or equivalent, current CDL license with passenger endorsement, clean driving record, and experience operating a school bus. This position works 25 hours per week with occasional field trips, evenings
and weekends as needed. This person obeys all State and Federal Traffic regulations and laws, uses effective defensive driving techniques, attends and completes all required training to obtain & maintain safety and driver certification.

Education/Certification

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent;
  • Knowledge of routes; Ability to interpret schedules, forms and maps;
  • Must be able to pass a background check;
  • Must be able to pass drug testing procedures;

  • Texas School Bus Drivers Certification or CDL License with Passenger Endorsement;

This position requires the maintaining of an attractive, sanitary and safe facility for students, staff and public; providing equipment and furniture arrangements for meetings, classroom activities and events; and minimizing property damage, loss and facility structure.

Position requires ability to perform multiple, not-technical tasks with a need to occasionally upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.  Specific skills required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: operating equipment used in industrial maintenance including electrical cleaning equipment, common tools, landscaping equipment, etc.; and adhering to safety practices.

Youth Development Professional

The Youth Development Professionals role is providing daily programs, services and activities for EAMA members, which are consistent with the organization’s youth development mission and goals. Youth development Professionals are primarily, but not exclusively, responsible for youth supervision, developing positive, productive relationships with students and overseeing the delivery of activities in core program areas such as Education, Social Recreation and Music.

This person will work closely with the Site Coordinator to plan & implement designated programs and activities that support Youth Development Outcomes for this age group.  The person will maintain EAMA program goals that ensure the health and safety of members.  The Youth Development Professional reports to the Site Coordinator.

Desired Documented Work Experience in:

  • Communicating with parents, students, employees and others.
  •  Telephone etiquette.
  • Related study or work experience field.
  • Class-room management.

Front Desk Clerk

The Front Desk Clerk will maintain the front office. This person will be responsible for greeting parents and visitors professionally daily. This person will compile, copy, sort, and file student information and activity reports. This person will be responsible for collecting and remitting money. This position will report to the campus director.

  • Communicating with parents, students, employees, and others.
  • Telephone and email etiquette.
