The Youth Development Professional, plans, implements, supervises and evaluates programs in the areas of character and leadership, Education and Career, Health and Life Skills, The Arts, Sports, Fitness & Recreation and Specialized programs to school-age (grades K – 8) members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Texas.

Desired Experience:
• Create an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.
• Register and recruit new members and participate in their club orientation process.
• Promote and stimulate program participation.
• Assist in the retention of members.
• Provide guidance and role modeling to members.

Program Development and Implementation.
• Effectively develop and implement programs, services and activities for members.
• Monitor and evaluate programs, services and activities to ensure the safety of members,
quality in programs and appearance of BGCSCT at all times.
• Prepare and submit activity reports.
• Provide direct member supervision.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings.

Additional Responsibilities
• Must be able to participate in organization events.
• Must be eligible to drive the club vehicles as needed.
• Must be able to work additional hours, if needed.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or its equivalent;
Must be able to pass a background check;
Have a clean driving record (Department of Public Safety);
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday — Friday, occasional evenings and weekends.

Salary:
$9.00 per hour.
